High-Quality Emergency and Hospitalist Care
US Acute Care Solutions (USACS) is providing both emergency medicine and hospitalist services to Warren General Hospital. The partnership marks another expansion of USACS & WGH’s innovative Integrated Acute Care Program, which brings emergency and hospital medicine services together as one team with one purpose: seamless, quality patient care across the entire acute care episode.
"Our Integrated Acute Care continues to grow as the model of choice for hospitals interested in improving quality and patient satisfaction through the entire care continuum,” said Dr. Michael Cetta, Chief of Integrated Acute Care Services. “By placing both emergency and hospital medicine services under a single, physician-owned and led team, accountable for results, our partnership is seeing progress on the most difficult healthcare challenges as well as improved patient care across the board.”
The USACS & WGH’s partnership model of Integrated Acute Care builds on USACS' commitment to physician ownership by creating a single, accountable team of physician leaders responsible for continual improvement of patient care throughout the patient's stay, from entrance into the Emergency Department until discharge, and even beyond. The model has led to improvements in key quality metrics, particularly those related to a hospital's preparedness for the future.
“After much due diligence, Warren General Hospital chooses partners, like US Acute Care Solutions, who share the longstanding cultural values of our hospital and our commitment to both high-quality medical care and the promotion of overall community health,” said Rick Allen, CEO of Warren General Hospital. “Our patients can be confident that US Acute Care Solutions will work hard to make sure they have access to Top 100 medical care in their home town.”
