At Warren General Hospital, a fundamental responsibility is to maintain and upgrade our facilities in order to provide the highest quality of health care to those who enter our doors to seek care.

Charitable giving is a vital investment in assuring quality health care in our community. It is the demonstration of local commitment and support that is so powerful in obtaining state and federal funds that can be essential in maintaining and upgrading the quality of our medical services.

Through the years, the community has been very generous to the Warren General Hospital, through our Target Tomorrow campaign, our Cancer Center Capital Campaign and through on-going Annual Giving and Tribute Memorial programs. Additionally, the support of annual events such as the “Summer Sizzler” charity golf tournament and the Auxiliary Gala provide valuable funds necessary for purchasing the latest technological advances in equipment and treatment options. In today's health care environment, in which operating revenues alone are insufficient to fund all capital improvements, all medical technology and all programs, philanthropy has become increasingly imperative.

The importance of unrestricted charitable support cannot be overstated. These donations allow Warren General to allocate monies when and where they are needed most — to provide services for indigent patients, meet unexpected emergencies, or to provide timely support for educational or screening programs.
